Best memory.

Not our celebrations as you may think, but the first Hx game I went to watch.

 

It must have been around 7/8 years ago I guess and most likely Dec/Jan/Feb because I remember it being bitterly cold. No idea who we played though.

 

The reason I remember it so fondly was because it was more action-packed even then our Gt Wakering games! Our no. 2 was superb, dominating the game from the start right to the point an opposition player took him out and had to be stretchered off! I think the score was something like 4-2 with 2/3 coming from penalties - their goalie was sent off as a result of one of them. Not the only sending off as the goalie was followed in the 2nd half by their manager for abusing the officials! He was still moaning away as he trudged back to the dressing room. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

Really entertaining game and I think it was probably due to this why became an Urchin. Just wish I could remember it in more detail. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

 

Wonder who that no. 2 was.
