Horrible cheap kit that few bought this season and even fewer will buy next.

 

As for the online shop, its the stock that needs revamping first not the site, no disrespect meant Steve.

None taken. To be honest, that is pretty much what I meant anyway. The only aesthetic change would be to bring it inline with the newlook site.

I did have a play around with it earlier in the season and it was not as straightforward as I hoped, which is why it is still as it is!!!

May I just remind everyone that when we got the new kit KP clearly stated to save the fans money forking out for new kit, this one will be for a 3 year deal. So it wont end until after season 2011/2012.

Must have missed that Alan. In that case fair do's but I think we were all assuming we were getting a "new" shirt & just responding to Wellsies statement (below).

 

"There will be a new shirt for next season but what is not clear at this stage is the manufacturer or design - decisions which will in no small part will be made with cost in mind".

 

Not so then or have I misunderstood that statement.

 

Hey it's no big deal either way if I'm being honest & if its for the 3 years as you say it is then so be it. As others have rightfully said there are far more important things going on & for us to think about.

As you say & In fairness to Wellsie he does only state "new shirt" & not "new complete new strip" so maybe yes, the shirt is merely being redesigned or adapted to take in the new sponsors names this time.

I don't know the details of the previous kit deal but it did follow the collapse of a deal with another manufacturer. Also, the YOUR NAME ON OUR SHIRT campaign is offering a 2 year shirt deal for the first donor out of the bag.
