James Lambert was a excellent,skilful footballer at Reading and was regarded by other teams as one of 'Reading's better players'.

Unfortunately, Slough got him on the way down and our inept manager Steve Browne didn't see any potential in him.Like he never saw it in Matt Murray-goalkeeper who now plays in Wolves first team!!!

I thought that James Lambert could have been a success at Slough but for some reason beyond me,Slough fans don't appreciate skilful players i.e Lee Endersby,Younis Nabil,Dean Palmer.If I were running the side I would base my team around a player of that talent.Perhaps I'm a football purist but I do loathe this headed tennis that some think is a good game!

Who didn't appreciate Dean Palmer?! He was one of the most popular players at Wexham Park last season and if I had the choice of only one player to have back off Boreham Wood I'd choose Palmer ahead of all of them, including Sammy.
