Why sadly, you didn't seem overly interested in playing did you

Sadly for around 70 people Wednesday night was a a complete waste of time ... Players officials and getting on for around 30 spectators, including your old manager who had travelled from Docklands to watch.

What we turn up 15 players by 6.35 with 1 to come, and we are not interested in playing? not quite sure how you work that out !

I tell how far players travelled to get there from work, One from south Norwood, one Canary wharf, one Greenwich, one Biggleswade, One Oxford and the rest from the st albans area for a 7.30 kick off...... you tell me how much time and money it cost the players, the third avoidable wasted midweek visit in just over a month.

Sorry In circumstances like this the travelling team, as happens in other leagues should be allow to claim travel expenses if a game is called off, that would make sure the home team pitch had been maintained to suit the conditions, and in wet weather would make sure pitch inspections were early enough to stop teams needlessly travelling, if the game was in doubt.

Its not park football we are meant to be step 6 football within the pyramid, all the teams are aspire to play step 5, if you cant maintain or afford that, dont play in it and play at level that the club is comfortable at, and can support. There is plenty of alternative leagues that can allow a team to grow.

It the pitch is dangerous, thats down to preperation, the pitch was going to be as bad for your players it was for ours, the referee called it off because it was dangerous....... think about it....... was that our fault

And there is only one person to blame for that isn't there, the pitch was no worse than it was on Monday night when we entertained Holmer Green who rolled up their sleeves and just got on with it

Sorry Cliff, with all due respect, All three officials thought it was unplayable,

Forgive me but I don't actually remember you walking on the pitch at any point, you may well have stood in the bottom penalty area where the teams come out, so not sure how could you comment on the pitches condition, you certainly didnt come any where near the top half of the field.

I will be interested how many of your last four league games are played on that pitch if it doesnt rain, or if some major watering is not carried out before the end of the season.

That's strange because experienced match Referee David Clement and his two Assistants had no problem whatsoever with it on Monday evening, neither did Holmer Green

Two more days of sunshine, plus no water obviously put it over the edge, safety wise. I've just heard that today's game v Amersham is off for the same reason.

HTFCew - Extensive work was carried out to the pitch all day yesterday with a huge amount of watering so I fail to see how today's game could just be called off without a morning inspection
