So last home game this season against an in-form aveley side. Not sure yet if i can be at this one, i hope a can.

Anyway, pressure off and i would hope to see a good game with obviously Aveley having lots to play for still in the way of play-off places.

I will go for:

Blues 2-0 Aveley

Attendance: 318

COYB :)

The pressure is off us, but still on Aveley as they fight for the playoff's, they probably see us as the easier team in their last 3 matches, away to Horsham (A) and home to Tonbridge, who also have a chance of making the playoffs.......so an opportunity for us to have fun and shine......perhaps our objective now is to finish above Canvey !!

I thought we gave a good performance and deserved the win, obviously now the pressure is off us we can start to enjoy watching the remaining two games, and the players can play without the pressure. Great goal from Greeny which could have been topped with a great strike from Chargey if only it had gone in! Misfud has done extremely well and got us out of a sticky situation, so thank you and well done for that!! And also the players, especially Cuz for never giving up, and the players playing through injury just shows what staying up meant to them.

What more could you ask for... And now we know that C****Y cannot finish above us!!! COYB!

I thought tonight was a great insight into how we can play when we're not under the sort of psycological pressure we've been subject to for most of this season. It was great to see the players enjoying themselves now the pressure's off. Sutton may be in for a suprise on Saturday.

A deserved win for us and more than payback for the situation that was handled poorly by the officials and our "guests" in February...speaking to Nobby last night and he said, "in Football, there has never been a better saying than "What goes around, comes around"". So true.

Greeny's goal was out of the top drawer but all the players played well and gave 100%. What a game...the expereience of Cuz and the back four, the youth, energy and flair of our young players has pulled together to show what potential we have got at the club. What a pity iy wasn't realised earlier.

Well done and thank you.

I suppose the pitch last night, was too hard for our "guests"

I thoroughly enjoyed last nights game, without the pressure our players looked relaxed and were able show their true ability.

With the best defensive record in the league and with a fit strike force we must be looking at promotion next season (assuming the players stay at the club)

Probably the most enjoyable game of the season for me. The presuure was off and the players seemed more relaxed about it. Some good football played and Greens goal was a gem. Another resolute performance against an Aveley team who most certainly had something to play for. "IF" Craig can keep the nucleus of the team together with a couple of additions/combined with his passion things could be good. But, once again i enjoyed that game last night as the team played like they can do.

Probably the most enjoyable game of the season for me.

You know, I was thinking about this and having seen all the first team fixtures for another season (medals will be handed out later  ), for me personally, I would agree. The two Dartford games we're good, excellent in fact, our win over Canvey was special and even our victories over The Urchins had something but this one, even though you could argue our 4 - 1 victory over Dartford was a better performance, this one was deeply satisfying, especially standing in the Cow Shed. Last night gave me a deep and warm feeling, putting one over Aveley.

And what topped it off was watching their bench get more and more frustrated.....

Oh and we're above C****y and they can't catch us

I didnt make the Aveley game away, what happened there that was so bad? I have made 25 games this season and personally I liked the Canvey win best of all. With no big teams coming down from the BBS, with a good manager and if we can keep our squad I am getting excited about next season already!
