I was at the Eton Manor v Hullbridge game last night, and just like the last time I saw Hullbridge (at Mauritius), they were lacklustre in the first half, but got stronger as the game went on. Eton Manor had the better of the first half, and deserved their half time lead, and started the second half well, but couldn't get the second goal. The last half hour they were very much backs to the wall though and Hullbridge deserved their equaliser.

Was a very decent, entertaining game, between two evenly matched sides, on a dustbowl of a pitch.

I was looking at Eton Manor's results when I got home last night and the only teams that they've failed to take a point off this season are Stansted and Takeley. Shows you their total lack of consistency. Can compete with anyone on their day, but have had a few problems defensively and in goal all season and it's cost them far too many points.

Was probably the last Senior League game I'll get to this season - well done one and all - one of the most entertaining and unpredictable Senior League Seasons that I can remember.

Are you sure you was at the game? Lacklustre in the first half?Manor deserved their half time lead?Couldn't get the second goal? two evenly matched sides?

They scored from a corner against the run of play after Manor keeper saved well on 3 occasions in the first half. Our gk made one save all game while MOM Paul Daley Manor keeper made 5 world class saves in the second half and we hit the post as well! Certainly with that keeper Manor didn't show any problems in goal.....To cut it short we battered them for most of the game and he kept them in the game.Ah football......it's all a matter of opinions innit?

Paul Daley did play well in goal Coachie, but he's not been there until the last couple of weeks I think I'm right in saying. I thought he made one genuinely great save first half at 0-0 and then 2 in the last half hour. But despite not working your keeper Manor did go close first half, 2 just over the bar with the keeper beaten and one that flew past the post. Thought they were "on top" first half. Certainly didn't think the goal was against the run of play.

You did batter them the last half hour though, but even then they could have won it with a late counter attack when your keeper saved well. Would have been an injustice if you'd lost - as it was when you did lose at Mauritius last time I saw you play. I didn't see you much early in the season Coachie, but I've seen you three times since Christmas and I think you are a good side.

EDIT: I certainly have nothing to do with Eton Manor's match reports....... They might be the Senior league club I watch most often (well them and Barking) and I'll tell you when they're rubbish.

i agree with coachie dont know what game you was watching FCFAN? Hullbridge controlled the first 30mins of the game and should have scored on 2 or 3 occations 1 v good save. Manor then scored against run of play and for the remainder of the half were on top.

2nd Half Hullbridge dominated the game again for whole half with keeper making 2 great saves and bridge hitting inside of post before getting equaliser Manor could of scored last minute to steal all of the points which would of been even more of a robbery but for a great one on one save from bridge keeper.

on whole manor defended well but should have been 3point to Hullbridge!
