Just read this in the Ryman League Official Newsletter, in a paragraph about the relegation battle..........

 

"AFCHornchurch, though they have only two matches leftand trail Aveley by four points, are still in with an outside chance aftertheir 4-1 home win over Waltham Abbey, a result which means that Abbey cannotescape the bottom four. It seems certain, however, that only three clubs willgo down and so they retain a glimmer of hope."

Following Maidstone's 3-0 defeat it is all very simple............

 

Tomorrow night - Waltham Abbey beat Bognor and Ashford lose at home to Canvey.

 

Thursday - Bognor beat Maidstone 3-0.

 

Saturday - Ashford lose at home to Harrow, Bognor lose at home to Dartford, Maidstone lose at Kingstonian and we win. 5th bottom job done.
