Well as i'm in charge today I can sit with my feet on the desk listening to MTV2 all day so I'll fill you in on any good music I hear.

 

So far:

The new single from the Libertines is really good

The singles from BRMC and Cooper Temple Cause are pretty good as well.

Just heard a single by a band called Burning Bridges, that was good.

And some classic Manics from the early 90's when they were quite punky and the dead bloke was still there!

Now it's that bloody Red Hot Chilli Peppers song.

The new Coldplay single is actually awful!

Chili Peppers are like David Gray and Coldplay, in that they're a band that stupid women like Kate Lawler pretend to like, in order to give themselves some credibility.

I don't listen to the radio at all - I just wait for the singles to come out and then buy them.

 

Only new music I ever hear through the media is on CD:UK unfortunately. Mind you, they have some decent stuff on from time to time.

 

I keepup with new music by reading Q magazine and also by looking at dotmusic, NME and that leftie-paper on-line.

 

BRMC's single has been put back to 18th August now though. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
