Well WE DID IT!!!!!! and so did the Rebels. Fantastic day all round.

Thanks to everyone for their support, sponsorship and encouragement. The reception committee was great.

I need to thank Radders and especially Martin, due to our fairly even levels of insanity and walking speed etc., we made a good team. I wouldn't have got there without him.

More than anything though I couldn't have even considered the attempt if Ian hadn't taken the week off, looked after the kids and ferried us around, so Thank you so much, even came home to a tidy house and no ironing.

On high point of the walk was the Garden Centre offering "Free erections"

Road kill update: not too much other than a bunny which we had to step over and a couple of ginger moggies within about 100 yards of each other.

Have a couple of blisters and a bit achy but certainly no worse than after previous years.

Loved the poster kids

Just wanted to add my thanks for all the encouragement and support we had during the week and the welcome committee was brilliant. Made all those steps worthwhile.

Got to add my thanks to Kay for being a brilliant walking companion and for planning the route which was excellent (the Red Lion in Adderbury was my favourtie pub!) and sorting out the accomodation too. Despite being extremely poorly Radders set the tone on Monday by showing the determination that was needed to get us through. Thanks to all the Lathey family too and Ian in particular for acting as a taxi in the early days of the walk. Seems a long time ago now, but we couldn't have done it without you.

I've a pretty swollen achilles with some fluid rolling around in there and some utterly revolting blisters but the pain magically disappeared when we arrived at the ground to see all the brilliant Rebels supporters and THAT performance. Thanks again and come on you Rebels.
