we looked classy tonight at times....against a robust team sent out to win the game at all costs....

 

that wasn't a friendly...it was a derby....

Referee didn't take control from the first minute a league match and there would have been 3 to 4 sendings off <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

 

Anyway to footballing matters, I'm somebody who thinks in friendlies the result doesn't really matter (not saying that i wouldn't have liked us to win) i think it's a chance for the managment team to see new players play and give chances to every one to win the 11 places. JK impressed me again he's like dynamite i also thought Rizzo had a good game.

 

Just cause Joppo didn't play last night doesn't mean he won't play, Gavin didn't play at Basildon or Tonbridge !

would be nice wouldn't it...

 

trouble is the lads want to play first team football...if they are part of a squad they aint guaranteed that so will look to move where they are...usually lower down the leagues...sometimes upwards...

 

for that reason Chris Stowe has left us...he wanted desperately to stay but had a guarantee of first team footie at a lower level...our loss their gain...hope he does well...

 

although I suspect that he'll be back...lets hope so...

 

I was the same when I played...used to smash the dressing room up if I wasn't starting....

 

I'm a lot calmer these days....
