A draw away from home is a good result in anyones book, even against one of the poorer teams, especially after a hard game on Tuesday. Remember guys, you are talking about part-time players not

professionals, who have dont jobs in the week. I think some of you need to wise up a bit.

I fully understand that we have had a very hard few weeks as i said ' the players looked knackered', and im fully aware that expectations have increased a lot due to Bateman doing a much better job than managers previously and us having a much better squad than previously, the only issue i had with the team selection was that we did have fresh players on the bench, why not start them?

If we see ourselves as a top half team Bromsgrove are a 6 point tem in a season we have got 2. (and the one yesterday we barely held on to)

No team is a 6 point team, especially at this stage of the season, you have just re-iterrated my comments. Read my previous post about why managers do things that you

do not know about

Yes i have seen your post, about there are things we are unaware of, and that obviously influences player selections, and, as i did say, if ANY team in our league fancies themselves as a top half or even top 5 team, Bromsgrove are a team you would expect two wins from. As I said behind the goal yesterday, and i will re-iterrate I'm just pleased that we are clear of relegation which is obviously a huge step from the previous few years. It was a terrible performance! Not casting any blame, but they seem to be a lot more regular than pre Christmas..... I wonder what our results before Jarvis said we fancied ourselves as league champions compare to the results after.... has Jarvis successfully head f*&(&ed our team?

I expect most Slough fans who saw last nights result were disappointed, lets face it were all hoping for a win. So in fairness to us that travelled you cant blame us for some of the comments on here, it was very frustrating.

I think the occasional moan is understandable, the main thing is we will STILL be there tomorrow, Tuesday evening and Saturday getting behind our team.

Shouldn't really go to a game expecting a win. Nothing is certain in football. I would be wary about expecting one tomorrow too.

Aylesbury recently have had good results beating Sutton Coldfield and taking a 3-1 lead against Hitchin. They won't make things easy, especially if Slough don't want to shoot!

Just a small point DJD but we have achieved 4 points against Bromsgrove.

So why dont you speak to Steve Bateman with your concerns in the bar after the games Ian, i am sure you will find him very approachable?

I don't suppose Steve Bateman or any of the coaching staff want to spend their post-match time specifically answering my questions about, for example, why we failed to muster a single shot of any kind for one hour last night. I don't agree with some of the players he's picked, the positions he's played them in or our approach to certain games. I fully accept however that he is the manager and should pick who he wants. He rightly has to take responsibility for that but by the same token it doesn't mean I or any other supporters have to agree or should not voice that opinion. As supporters it's the only thing we can do, other than voting with our feet.

I do think however that a 'fans forum' would be an excellent idea. I think all fans should be given the opportunity to ask the manager and coaching staff whatever they want. I'll talk to Chris and Gary and suggest it.

I really hope the 'fans forum' suggestion is not a serious one because it will be a sure way of losing the best manager we've had in a long time.

After the last few seasons, just going and seeing a full subs bench is a step forward!

Have to agree with yours and Chris's comments re NBH and Dean Harper(what does he have to do to get a game) who both appear to at least cause some panic or threat in the air to defences from corners or freekicks something sadly missing without either, how many corners in the last 4 or 5 games have come to nothing because we can't compete in the air. Last night was another poor away performance as said by others against another lowly side we should have beaten. IMO SB makes to many changes, when was the last game we fielded(bar injuries) the same 11?. Also agree with other comments Seeby had another good game also like Adam Martin would do well to hang on to both. Perhaps we have set our sights to high and missing out on the playoff's shouldn't be viewed so badly after the previous few seasons. If we dont win this weekend surely its all over for this season anyway
