NOW THAT'S A GREAT IDEA!

 

May i suggest April Lodge in Sandwich Guinea Pig rescue home they have over 100 unwanted guines at any time, advertising a local charity would be very much appreciated

 

Might I suggest sponsoring an OAP from the choir, as the poor things dont get out much and would Im sure appreciate you topping up their bar bill......

I'm quite happy to collect the money again. We have plenty of time to collect it ready for next season. I think we should keep it as a voluntary amount so that people will send what they can afford. It worked fine last time and we raised £400.00 from about 14 people, some who wished to remain anonymous. I think that £600 is quite ahievable if perhaps people make a monthly pledge for April May and June and more people are interested in joining.

 

One other thought I had, was if we won the advertising boards we could offer it out to the highest bidder and then make more money for the club!! However I like the idea of a local charity like a hospice or something along those lines.

 

I will post an appeal later and we can make it sticky for the maximum coverage.

I have decided that I will draw names out a hat to see who gets the shirts. There are 4 shirts availiable and 13 names to go into the hat. Two people have declined to go into the draw hence the 13. If anybody else does not want to be included can you PM me. I will be at the presentation on Saturday, and so if your name gets drawn out, and you can't make it, can you PM me and I will collect it on your behalf. I will be making the draw on Thursday so will update then.
