SPENCER DAY TO RESIGN

[Curfew]

The rumour spreading throughout the club's commitee is that Spencer Day is to resign as Chertsey Manager before Saturday's game at Chessington, meaning Tuesday's game at Sandhurst will be his last.

 

No official word from the club yet, but it will be interesting to see what develops this week and if it will mean the rumours surrounding Hampton and Richmond are true?

I find interesting that he hasn't made any comment? Usually quick to defend himself on here. SPENCER ARE YOU OUT THERE? Or are you at lunch with Alan Devonshire.

If he is to resign, he is possibly doing the decent thing and making sure that the first people to officially find out are the ones at Chertsey. That would be the right thing to do. Alternatively, it may not be true and he may see no reason to respond.

Spencers not going anywhere. He has started to build our club up, put us in the best position for years, got a good youth set up, got good players here and put the feel good factor back in. Even got a crew behind the goal at home games. Loving it, he has a 6 year plan for Chertsey
