There's some good, worthwhile stuff on there (the first eight tracks, for instance, are from EPs never released on CD) but some of the subsequent B-sides (Skidoo from the Caravan single and Tainted Love from the Bitches Brew single to name but two) are far from their best.

 

Why is The Wind Is Calling Your Name from the Please Be Cruel single not on it, or I Know I'm Losing You from the Dragging Me Down single, which are both far better alternative songs than the two included.

 

The most criminal exclustion though, is that there were two tracks on the Island Head 7" EP (Gold Top and I'll Keep It In Mind) which were not on the CD version of Island Head, and have therefore never been released on CD. I cannot fathom why these two tracks are not on it.

 

Excellent collection nonetheless, though!

Iron seems to be the track that everyone loves on the Inspirals message board.

Sackville is also a classic.

Have you got a DVD player Zeal? Because there is a secret interview on there from 1990 when 'Life' was released.

Yeah, I'm pleased that Sackville (b-side of She Comes In The Fall) is on it, because I always preferred it to the version on Life.

 

Yes, I have a DVD player, but haven't checked it out yet. When you say 'secret', do you mean it's a different interview to the one on track 26, which is listed??
