Great game for Paul Nicholls who made 5 great saves in the first half plus another top save in the second from a free kick.

Their number 2 deservedly got booked in the second half.

2 Nil so we are safe from relegation.

Yes, but shame Paul got himself Yellow-carded too.

Good result and a valuable 3 points in the bag before we come up against high flying Sutton on Thursday. Presumably they're also playing Tuesday?

6 from 9 for the current management.

Not the best of games but its the three points that count, especially at this stage of the season.

Up until the first goal, we rode our luck a bit and Nicholls made three or four good saves.

After that we were the better side. Two well taken goals and hopefully that means the end to the worry of relegation.

Comical performance from the ref; his interpretation of the advantage law and kicking the ball away defied belief.

COYB!

When one of our guys called the number 2 a yardy that just cracked me up but i didn't expect him to start acting like one.

I agree the ref was a complete nightmare again.

3 points and a clean sheet for the manager applaus.gif

Looked dodgy during the 1st half and it looked like they should have been a few ahead going in, but thanks to our keeper who played a blinder today. MOTM for me.

I still think we could do with a STRIKER.

Well done Blues.

Not according to their website.

Sutton were originally due to be playing Cray on Tuesday, but Cray have a Kent cup game that day so it got pushed back a week. Shame they can't bring our game forward, Thursday isn't a day for football...

Great to see so many Blues fans there. The ball skills of both Danny's stood out for me and Dave tore them up down the left. Thomo still really disappoints for such a big guy. We must add a good striker to help Billy out next season, but for the moment let's hope we overtake the inbred islanders.

It was a vital win and one that barring any bizarre sequence of results should make us safe now.

Our defence has been the cornerstone of our season and the clean sheet was most welcome. We have some strong players and strong characters in our back line and I hope these guys choose to play their football at Billericay next season.

I also thought Danny Charge stepped up to the mark really well and played his best game in a Blue shirt.

It will be interesting to see how we go now on the management front now, as if last season is anything to go by, we could expect some kind of communication on that subject fairly soon.

Come on you Blues!!

Have we ever had a Player Manager?

A big win, and although we are not completely safe, I'm breathing a little easier now.

Smon Thomas. I thought his contribution to our win on Saturday was vital. he may not be scoring goals, but his presence on Saturday as a target man , and his ability to get the ball to stick allowed others to join in..

Well done lads

Big well done to all !! That is 6 from 9 for JM, a very pleasing start for "any" manger, especially as only conceded 1 in that spell, and the fact that we are/am/were ? in a relegation scrap.

I too think the 3 points picked up Saturday (hopefully) will give us Ryman Prem status for next season. Still work to be done though and another 3 points would certainly be beneficial, but well done once again.

Need to get to a game soon ! but Thursday looking like half time at best for me :(
