Two games next week, both away from home.

 

Monday night we travel to Clarence Park to play St Albans CIty. That's a 19:30 kick off.

 

On Thursday night we are due at Parkfield, to play Potters Bar Town.

There's nothing better than starting the week with a win, George Cranfield's well taken goal separating the two teams at Clarence Park last night.

 

Tom Riley was outstanding, and also deserves thanks for rounding up some new faces (inclusing brother and cousin) to play; Phil's captured them all on film.

I got a photo of that tackle by Tom Riley (if you weren't there you missed a treat!) which was quite frankly one of the best I have ever seen and was applauded by players from both sides as well as those of us off the pitch.

After two wins last week, Town travel to Cheshunt on Wednesday (21st) for this week's Capital League fixture.

Up two places in the league to 6th, after a one nil success last night against Cheshunt!

 

The game was settled by an early own goal from the home side, but it took a fine performance from Chris Spencer in the Town goal to secure the win.
