Does anyone have any knowledge/rumours if any new club has applied for membership of the ESL for 10/11?? Any from the Oylmpian League (like Takley a few yrs ago) or Middx County (like BGU) etc applied??

Mountnessing Boca of the Essex Olympian League have applied.

 

Looks like Harlow Town are coming in from the other direction.

Mountnessing have applied but wont finish in the top 2 of the essex olympian league,which is required to get promoted into the essex senior league.

Compaq you are right a lot to play for in that league but they are way out in midtable. Can't see anybody else in either league with the set-up to come up.

Hutton play at east thurrock united and look like getting promoted from olympian division 1 this season,that would put them into the premier division for next season,they might look to progress and apply for the essex senior league the same way as mountnessing have done this season,only problem is that to go up you must finish in the top 2 of the top division to gain promotion from the olympian league to the essex senior league,kelvedon hatch who currently sit top and look the likely winners of the senior division of the olympian league this season dont have the facilities to gain automatic promotion to the essex senior league

What's the situation with the "Essex & Suffolk Border League"?

Do they have to go Ridgeons or if for arguments sake White Notley had floodlights and are only a mile from Witham could they come in the ESL and if they put in a chit and if they were in a promotion place.

 

The top five from the link above you have many Colchester / Clacton based clubs who are obviously Essex.
