Just like to comment Tonbridge were very very poor how they are where they are in the league baffles me.

We did deservise to win, i feel we lost two points, apart from one small area that let us down, we had no hungry goal seekers. Stubs and Pinonk along with Saunders i thought were manificient. Keeper was good and confident,

The majority of the team played very well, but dear oh dear is it me, why is it Grant, was kept on the pitch, i thought he was lazy, careless, not passionate enough.

I dreaede evetry time he got the ball.

Must do better

Going by your post Marksand well you sound like you had plenty of beer to down the draw with, however, given this time earlier in the season we would have gladly taken a draw from them. Results havent really gone our way but I THINK THE BOYS ARE DOING REALLY REALLY WELL considering where they have been and where they are going to - get behind the fellas cos thats why we are SUPPORTERS of MFC.

I would have taken a point all day long before the game, so i'm not that dissapointed. I'm still in shock of how Grant managed to miss that chance though and over the 90 mins we should have won. Tonbridge were terrible, but i think we should give quite a bit of credit to the our defensive play today, certainly the best defensive performance from us for a very long time

Take it your not keen on cooper then mark

Well he's done nothing to impress me yet, and when i see the others working hard it makes me not appreciate

the skills he might have. He just needs to show energy and effort more. I thought there were many

opportunities he should have gone for goal, but he lays it off, which resulted often in a team player in a worse position.

Whenever the ball was passed to him, he just seem to be very uncormfortable and undecided.

However if he scores the winning goal on the last game of the season, that keeps us up. He will of become the

greatest player to wear a Margate shirt!!!!!!

are we talking grant cooper - centre back who has impressed me when I have seen him or dean grant who I have to say when he came on against bognor did not make any difference up front and has not made much impact when he has been used primarily as a sub in recent games

Cooper has really settled into the team and looks extremely solid. He's an attacking threat as well, has had a few pot-shots that have come close. A key part of the jigsaw.

At Carshalton, I thought Dean was really impressive. Just when we looked to be tiring, he gave us the impetus we needed to go on and win that game. Non-stop work rate for his half hour on the pitch. His shot across goal was tapped in by Jay. Far from the finished article but a useful player in our current situation. There are many others that let us all down week in week out while taking their wage, but the current side IMO have really knuckled down these past nine games. No time for tiredness now though. This is the business end.
