Bit of a mixture around us, results wise. Not sure what it'll do for our overall position quite yet. Certainly need to win again, the fabulous and unprecedented unbeaten run notwithstanding. Looks ever more certain to come down to the last match.

A comment on the Tonbridge forum suggests that we 'wanted it more'. How nice is that to hear given that not wanting it enough is something we have been guilty of up until recently.

Dont think that says how well we played today. we were much better than them, best margate performance ive seen for a long time. grant should have scored from the header then put the rebound over from two yards, not quite sure how he managed that. stubbs had a shot from 6 yards that was blocked. Jay had a cracking shot from the edge of the box in the first half that looked like it was heading for the top corner but went just wide. pinnock had a couple of chances from around the penalty spot, both of which were deflected just wide. in the second half we bombarded them most the half and our lads looked like they really wanted it. top marks to all of them for their effort today. stubbs was excellent at left back, defence was solid, and we won nearly everything in midfield. i really felt robbed of two points when we left the ground.

Not much in the game. Don't really recall them creating any guilt-edged chances, whereas we created one golden opportunity, which really should have gone in. We were very solid at the back, but then Tonbridge seemed a very poor team.... amazed they are so high in the table. Would quite happily have taken a point before the game, but now feel a little gutted we didn't win it. Still, onwards and upwards, extends the unbeaten run, but results didn't exactly go our way today. Let's build on this solid performance for Wednesday.

Sounds like we were unlucky yesterday not to have come away with all 3 points. One point well won though it seems & a "bonus" point i.m.o. Am well satisfied with that. Well done you players.
