Damon Searle was training with canvey not so long ago was you interested in signing him?

 

He has been on trial with Col U but was not at the game yesterday i don't think he will be staying there.

Do you think he will be back with you?

He was training with us for several weeks before joining Colchester Utd. He didn't play in any public friendlies though as I believe our Managment were a bit worried of anyone poaching him from under our nose.

 

After we'd learned that he'd joined Colchester we thought that we'd lost him for good. As obviously playing for Colchester would seem more prosperous than playing for Canvey Island.

 

I heard that Colchester had offered him a contract, yet so had another Club, (not sure if it was us) so he may have rejected Colchester for the other Club interested in his services.

 

I haven't heard he's back with us.
