How the pitch looking?

Why not, cut the unbilical cord which attaches you to your PC, take the time and look yourself? And while you're at it, an offer to help to make it match perfect wouldn't go amiss?

Nice reply Gazza, that'll impress any prospective support! (not)

Does anyone know how the NL pitch is looking for mondays game?

Just come back from the club. Pitch is looking okay. It's covered where the most damage has occured. If the weather remains dry for the rest of today and tomorrow, I think we'll be playing...

...but that is my opinion and not one based on the expereience of our groundsperson and his helpers...

Maybe they want to find out how the pitch is looking so that they can make arrangements for their Bank Holiday like many of us probably have to do.

I don't understand your aggression Gazza. I wish I knew what you were trying to achieve by it.

Just had a look and all seems fine, even Aveley couldn't moan about it!

Good luck to Billericay for tomorrow against the Essex Pub Team. I would think everyone from Romford and Grays will be rooting for you.Nasty people those urchins.

gazza,i see you are still enticing fans to your club!!!!

At least one of the supporters have argued on this forum that the way to entice supporters to the ground is to improve the performance on the pitch as well as results...which, as far as I can see, is now contradicted to some extent (considering that the originator of this thread knows my feelings about the "lack of physical effort" posting something to a forum - again, surprisingly, against popular opinion - a forum is all a club requires - a damning indictment of the age we live in).

I have had to learn that you cannot please all the people all the time and that I am not every supporters "cup of tea" (at least one of whom has contributed to this thread). That is a fact of life and one which I do not lose sleep over as it takes a great many people and personalities to make up the World.

There are also those that have contributed to this thread that know me well....and so I thought, better...

My apologies to Upda...and to those supporters who have been offended by my flippant post.
