Why do we need a keeper. Whats up with Jacko?

As mentioned in the article it's purely as back up just in case Perks and Jacko get themselves injured during the run in.

Thought I read that Jacko would miss most of the rest of the season due to work in the local press. Decent back-up signings if you ask me as Wild has a good reputation and Byrne is capable at this level, not that I think we'll see either of them.

So with these new "signings" it brings Batemans list of available players for this season to 43

 

There are 25 current players who have made it on to the pitch, along with 6 more who have left.

 

There were 5 others who have never made it on to the pitch - Dean Sinclair, Phil Turner, Steve Jackman, Rory Smith, and the management bench warmer John Lawford.

 

We now see a further 4 signed up along side the 3 juniors who have completed forms.

 

How many times has the tinkerman put out the same 11 players in consecutive games - no wonder the "team" struggles to perform when there are always new faces turning up or the position of players changes week after week.

 

Good to see he has contacts, but what about some stability.

 

I think the Jacko situation sums it up!

Don't disagree with the injury side, but that is more players than a premiership side get through.

 

Some sigings never made it to the pitch - so why were they signed?

 

Also is the policy that if they played for Hemel then they must be signed up - are there no other players out there?

43 players is nothing, the club has been through 60 odd in a season before.
