Last nights ref

He wasnt haveing the best of times last night IMO. Some very bad decisions especially when Pinns was rugby tackled from behind on the edge of the box and he waved play-on?!!. Still what goes around comes around and when he was rendered unconscious by Jay( not literally of course, he kicked the ball in the general direction of the ref accidentally) it was hard not to laugh. Thankfully he arose seemingly unscathed and the match continued. But I am sure I saw the ref a couple of mins later put his whistle to his right ear and heard him say " is it tea-time yet Mummy?", lets hope the concussion clears up soon.

When the announcement was made for a qualified lino from the crowd I had terrible visions of the game being abandoned. Though I know at least one of our fans fitted the bill - even though he must be the wrong side of 70!
