A quick word before I go for a celebratory pint.

 

The lads were total top quality tonight. Worked their socks off and fought like demons for the victory. It was close, but they deserved it.

 

A definite case of 'whole team' for MOM.

 

Also good support behind the goal (well done lads!), and loads of passion from Mr O'Connell and JK, plus an honourable mention for Nick Barnes and Wayne Wilson for their support.

 

I have to say also credit to the home supporters, who were very generous in their comments and all-round nice people (well, the ones I met anyway).

 

So well done everybody. Let's keep it going!

First half we were the better team. Second half they were better and with 15 minutes left I would have gladly taken a draw. However, we got a second and held out fairly comfortably after that (including six minutes injury time after Grant Cooper almost removed the ref's head from his shoulders!)
