Right so who plays in tomorrow's game against Sutton. My team would be

Nicholls (Jones if not fit)

Oates Aisien Kersey Cousins ©

England Pond Hall Green

Charge Bricknell

subs: Jones (Cleaver if Jones starts), Wareham, Chatting, Street, Haswell

There's nothing wrong with our defence. Wild is still banned so that picks itself. Quite frankly I'd be more than happy if all those guys stayed next season. Green needs to play in his best position so that's where I start him. I also give set-pieces to Matt Hall. England has played right mid before so I'm sure he can play there. I have resisted the "vox populi" to start Harrison. He could possibly play instead of England, but for me his best performances have been from the bench and against Sutton I don't mind being a bit more solid to start with.

Up front Charge and Bricknell. They'll both work hard and that's a decent starting point. Thomas doesn't make the squad and I let him go if I can find a striker mad enough (and able) to join us in two days.

Come on you Blues!!

That's a fair call JL

And as much as i like to see Chatting play I also agree he is best off the bench along the game. As is Wareham. (imo)

I think I'd have Chatting on the right (yes, the right) in place of England.

Also, controversial this, but I reckon Haswell in place of Cousins.

Haswell was lost on Saturday, but he was playing in midfield.

Putting him at his correct position would be better.

And finally, a while ago there was all the talk of Marsh being good enough to come in.

I've never seen him, but JM seemed to speak highly of him, so why not give him a go up front with Billy?

Can we still reach the play-offs?

Jones/Nichols

Oates - Aisien - Kersey - Cousins

Pond - Hall - England - Wareham

Charge - Bricknell

Street

Green

Haswell

Cleaver

Chatting

Green has looked a bit jaded of late to me so I'd sit him out. Chatting is a good 'impact' player but has a long way to go before he's a week in week out player. England adds height to the centre mid and Pondy can play anywhere!

I'm assuming Mifsud has been watching home games?

Nah...he's doing it on guess work...

Yes, JM has been watching home games, he also was at canvey to name a few away games he has been to.

I don't agree with Statham's sacking .

You must be the only person I know who doesn't! Ryan, you are a lot closer to things at the club than I am these days, so I will respect your opinion, but personally I am looking forward to getting down to Carshalton on Saturday then the home game with Hornchurch on Monday to enjoy a breath of fresh air and get behind the Blues...
