Rothwell Issues- Update

There was talk last week that Rothwell may fold this coming Thursday, leading to points deductions from all the teams they have played. However, after reading yesterdays NLP

it looks like a mystery buyer has stepped in and is willing to fund the club at least till the end of the current season. Goods news all round if this is the case.

Hopefully they will not go to the wall and of course we wont lose our six points too

A lot of suggestions on their forum about how to keep the club going, good to see that there is interest in keeping the club alive.

 

I did read on another forum, Chesham's I think, that if a team completes 75% of its fixtures then the points deduction cannot take place anyway. In which case they need to play 4 more games to get to that stage.

Hmmm if this is the case then what happens to the teams who havent played Rothwell yet.
