I am shocked, but however looking forward to the next chapter of Billericay Town FC. Whoever comes in to replace the management i hope is the 'special one'.

I would like to thank and wish Brian & Barry all the best in the future.

ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!

I am very surprised by the timing of this, Does John Mifsud have knowledge of the 1st team??? One thing that I do know is that if his Programme notes are anything like his match reports

the programme sales will go through the roof!!!!!!!!!! He's hilarious!!

I bet Harrison is gutted, he finally showed Brian that he is worthy of a 1st team place (the supporters knew) and this goes and happens!!!!!!! We'll have to let John know how good he is!!!!! ;)

Good Luck John!!!!!

Good Luck in the future Brian, I think that you gave it your best shot and tried very hard, but tinkered too much and did not trust the younger players that we already had. We have needed a settled team.

Loads of decent players, but they can't all play at once!!

Personally I hold Simon responsible after airing his ten from ten yesterday! 'Pressure Drop' indeed.

Seriously though, I think JM will get full support now as a true blue-blooded 'ricay man. We will now see who is truly playing for the shirt and who was here just for the ride.

Good luck John, wherever this may lead us, already I feel much more positive.

I am not surprised about the ultimate outcome but the timing is staggering

We now have to hope that the players (90 pc of which are Brian's players ) will be professional enough and go out there and do a job and get us the points we need to make ourselves safe. Mif is Billericay through and through but it's a massive ask for him to steer us to safety with someone else's players and zero experience of managing at this level. I really hope he resists the temptation for any exotic team selections. I don't think we can lose players at this stage unless we want them to go as it's too late for fresh 7 day approaches.

It is absolutely critical that the supporters get behind the team right now.

Come on you Blues!

Did not see that one coming just yet - However, a decision has been made and it is now how the players and new management approach things. All we can do is get behind the team and then we will have to see what happens. The season has been disappointing (i am no different) to any other fan when i say that. One thing i think will happen is we may see more of Harrison. Also, i am really really intrigued about how JM will go about things. Just because he has never managed at this level does not mean to say he will do any worse/better than a so called experienced boss. I wish him all the very best and i also really think managing players is 90% about how to treat them as individuals...Some are strong headed and need a balling, where-as some are the arm round shoulder type...So to me the motivation skills will be (imo) the biggest test, as players tend to play better if they feel good about themselves...we shall see...But it sure is gonna be a fun run in now :) I am positive so lets have some positivity :)

A recurring theme when talking to ex-players and their contacts is the high esteem in which this club is held for it's "off-the-pitch" proffesionalism.

Whilst a large proportion of the squad came here as "Brians players" it would be nice to think they too can now see the advantage of staying put and maybe having the opportunity of starting next season in this Team, in this league, but with a new management team..

Very surprised that the decision has been made now. I hope that the players continue to give 100% to the end of the season to ensure we are still a Ryman Premier club come August as its still far from certain we will be.

Good luck to both Brian and Barry. Thanks for Canvey (h) and Dartford (both).

Not sure about the timing so close to the end of the season, but agree with the decision.

B&B are both great guys, and wish them well........unfortunate that they have gone 'now' as they owe me and TB a few of bottles of wine !!!!!!!!!!
