I was surprised at the attendance figure of 142 on our site, but a good showing from Enfield who brought the most fans to us this season.

Poor performance and we got what we deserved but let's put it behind us and push on.

I think 'poor performance' is a harsh assessment. First half was poor and Tilbury dervedly came in at 1-0 to their good.

 

Second half saw Fabio and Morton being inches away from getting a headed goal in and would have we gone on to win had stuarts lob gone in, the ball wronged all scientific facts to fail from going into the net after firstly bouncing on the penalty spot distance, then there was Liam's close control turn and shot and Adam caused some havoc too when he came on.

 

I can only remember Tilbury having a 1v1 in first half which the player screwed wide and a late attempt which went by our far post.

 

Otherwise I agree with the state of the pitch it was shocking, but not an excuse for the defeat.

 

Additional well done to the three officials, good or bad (well one of them was interpreting the 1970's offside laws) they impressed bearing in mind their ages must have accumulated to about 657 years of age (if you know what I mean???
