Having just read the Express, it made me realise the tremendous effort and hard work that people like Eddie and Roy and many many others are putting into the club right now. Why should they bother? The higher "management" are indescribably bad, the future uncertain, in Eddie's case he has not even been appointed as Manager yet!

 

I can honestly say that if it were me, I would have cleared off as soon as my salary stopped being paid

 

So my admiration respect goes to all of those many people who have carried on regardless of the current circumstances that teh club finds itself in

Obviously Eddie and the others have a bit of moral fibre and hope-and didn't i tell you the other day to have faith-i believe you were happy to play at council pitch level-but Slough are far better than that.And we are on our way up.....

lets hope their goodwill inn turning up and keeping going is better rewarded than it was for the last lot of players who stuck by the lcub in its hour of need 5 years ago. they were well and truly shafted
