Brimsdown

Can anyone confirm a story i heard on the grapevine.

I have been told that Enfield FC are moving into Brimsdown and the 2 teams will become 1 team and play in the ESL under the name of Enfield FC, meaning there will be no more Brimsdown Rovers!!!!!!!!

Not sure how true it is. Anyone else heard anything?

Will this be over the dead bodies of the two Enfield chairmen?

Horace,

Enfield Town are moving on to Donkey Lane where work has already started and i know that the Enfield FC chairman wants the club back playing in Enfield....So in all the two clubs will not be at the same ground...so no need for dead bodies.

Sorry, i misread the post! I can see that Brimmo would be brickin it if Town are removing all of their meccano stuff, but this is a bit drastic, isn't it?

The rumour is that Brimsdown and Enfield FC will merge and play under the name Enfield FC in the ESL next season, apens they have to keep one name as they wont be able to enter FA competitions

Enfield Town will be moving out of Brimsdown at the end of next season, in the meantime the 'new' enfield fc ressies team will play at Broxbourne for next season

Justin Mossely and Kevin Lucas will be managers

I'm sure everyone is unanimous in wishing Brimsdown Rovers all the best for this evening's London Senior Cup Semi Final at Metropolitan Police but it will clearly be a tough call for them

I heard whispers of this last week , In my opinion I dont think Brimmo could carry on by themselves , But it is known that brimmo have a good relationship with Enfields chairman who runs the downs bar clubhouse on Brimmo's behalf much to the annoyance of the Townies . Not too sure of the Broxbourne situation but I would think a reserve side playing there would keep some revenue for Brox Boro FC for the immediate future . It would seen Enfield are doing this the right way in this transition .
