Could we miss out big time

Saturday April 3rd we are at home to Ashford town(middx)

on the same day,live on sky is Man utd v Chelsea,and while in a perfect world people would prefer to watch hornchurch,i think we are not stupid enough to realise that people are going to want to watch the united v chelsea game.

We currently have no sky at the club,many people will stay at home or go to the pub to watch the game,some may venture down to the bridge after but many won't.

Just wondering if theres anything we can do to get this game on so people can watch it in the clubhouse before our game???

we need 2 big results against tingtong and colchester or people wont bother anyway and could well dip below 200 unheard of for a saturday

We're in a similar position to you. Unless we get a result on Saturday, we probably won't make the play offs.

 

We then have a run of home games on three consecutive Saturdays so if we have nothing to play for, I can see the crowds dipping quite a bit.

Was planning a Burnham Beano where I coulda watched both games at their clubhouse, but the GBT final is on Easter Monday this year.

tooting is obviously the big one to keep us in contention for the league,the cup final could just bring a few stay away punters back for the rest of the season
