Matt Hall

I am led to believe that Matt has been forced to leave the club due to not being paid.

Whilst Matt was injured, Statham decided that the clubs funds (his money) could be used better elsewhere.

What amazes me is that every time Matt played he gave his all for BTFC; then as a result of this the Manager has stiffed him.

Good to see that loyalty is alive and well in this club.

If we were an amazingly successful team then I could understand how this has been allowed to happen.

Best of luck Matt for your future and many thanks for the effort you put in.

Hmmmmm a bit of "egg" on the old face here, eh? :gotcha:

Whereas, it's nice to have the "heads up" on player movements, perhaps a question instead of a difinitive statement followed by a commentary (and dig), would've served better.

When I read the post, I was very disapointed because I think Matt Hall is a top player and is certainly one for the future of this club (if we keep him for next season). So I was delighted to read TC's and Adam's post that, it wasn't true....

Whereas I understand that our supporters will "respond" to "voices" in the shadowy corners of Non League (because THEY do care), what I don't understand is, why post something that does not give the club the benefit of the doubt? Or why not ask the question before pointing the accusing finger? I have said this in my notes, on this forum, that this is your club (and in the coming seasons, you will discover that, for good or for bad), so why the unfounded recriminations all the time?

Maybe people can't take disapointment (and this season has been disapointing both on the pitch and off it)? Maybe this is the way people manage such disapointment? I don't know. Whatever the answer, I am sure I will get quite a few opinions (including accusations, recriminations, moans and insults....bring it on).

I am pleased Matt Hall is still with us and I am pleased that he and Harrison got a game last night and played well (My opinion, Harrison IS the best dead ball striker of the ball in this club and it would be nice to see some extra coaching and support to help him improve his game...because he IS a talented with bags of potential). I'm not pleased that I missed the game, because I was trying to...programme duties and all that.

Still, club night tonight. ANyone want to take me up on any of the above questions? I fancy a face to face debate over a pint or three....

One thing that i can't stand is when moderators delete peoples post's. To be fair this is sometimes done in the heat of the moment, At the posters request, or because the moderator did not take kindly to criticism. (I,m not just talking about our Forum here)

But in a case where the starting post is proved to be totally unfounded and could jeopardise the relationship between a player and his club then "in my opinion" that post should be deleted.

What a doughnut!

Ahhhh....but then we get accused of not wanting people to debate and have their view....

Which is the reason why the "Hull" thread was kept and I was a little agrieved about the accusation that people couldn't have their opinion where plainly they did and had.

The trick is trying to please people...which you can't please all the time (and when people disagree...all the time). There appears to be the view that when a view is posted we all have to agree with the original poster....which is not the case. I don't have a problem with people disgreeing with me...and if you want to, do so...just be prepared for me to come back.

I think it's only fair to egolla that the original post is left in place.

We all need the odd skeleton in the closet to remind us to be that little bit more careful next time.

Great to see Matt Hall back in action.
