I wish to put out a call to all supporters and especially the Manager. Please ensure that along with the players with have playing now, please please keep hold of Sam Groombridge. I know he hasn't featured too many times in the recent line up (only sub) but he is without doubt a great find a i believe a potential regulare player for us next season.

I f any of you wish to tale issue with him going off to the middle East for trials, should reflect this was a discussion that was happening before he joined Margate. But at the time of joining Margate he had heard nothing. Sam i believe will become a great player with Margate. But like most players i'm sure he will be looking for regular games.

Not sure about the hard man bit - a solid defender who can play pretty much anywhere across the back from what I've read. Also read something from Darts manager Tony Burman saying that he felt Tommy's best position was sweeper so I guess he'll take over from JK.

I agree - he's young and a guy for the future, works well alongside Dan Young, has an "old head on young shoulders" and should be on I.O'C s retained list for certain.

[would play groombridge ahead of osbourne he played a few games as sweeper before he went away and did well for the last 20 minutes at billericay when we were under the cosh, think this is tommy fourth team since december {billericay , chatham ,thamesmead ] dont know how many games he played for thamesmead but the billericay programme only has him down for playing one cup game dont think he played for chatham then went to thamesmead ,sams one to keep hold of if we can at 21/22 hes vocal as well take it hes not on a contract

Sam is a very good defender he just needs games to get his fitness and confidence up to where it has historically been. He is a must to keep.

Totally agree guys, Sam's quality. Really hope he's here for the long run.
