What Roy has said reinforces what i have been thinking this past month,yes our 'off the pitch' situation is not good,however i have always believed that despite the loss of players we will continue to be a force to be reckoned with this coming season. I believe with the addition of some new players Eddie and Michael will build a promotion contending side this season,i am very optimistic and i think the teams better than it's being given credit for. David and myself will be riding on those old trains this week to get to our up coming matches,and i hope more Rebels will make the short trip to support our boys!

Oooh some news at last! Nice one Mr Thomas - I think were sorted for centre backs. It's the midfield and up-front that looks a little lightweight. Especially out wide.

 

Also I must change that Boreham Wood players image on our site on the left hand side!

The defence is looking very strong indeed, daly and gyroy in the middle and howard and barras wingbacks. Wilko and ryan in midfield could be worse, but i agree lacking out wide. Maybe one more upfront needed but need to have a look at the new guys first. And obviously NO KEEPER!! whats going to happen there then!!?

well finally some news on the club and reasonably positive too.

I know of a keeper who may be playing on Saturday, and also a forward who is expected to feature on Tuesday night, a highly rated proven goalscorer at this level.

 

To keep other clubs from snatching these players from under our noses, they will be revealed either on Saturday or on Tuesday against Oxford.

Emailed it out last night so people could include it on their respective sites, and fair play to Steve and Hillsy who do the Isthmian Fans site, they do get their news up there quickly!

Have you seen the report in the Observer that the Chairman of Windsor and Eton reckons we could get expelled from the league if we don't come up with the groundshare money on 1st August - and still Mr Deaner says nothing. Apparently he has asked for time to pay, up to 15th August - gee, what a surprise, two weeks again!

 

I hope Roy's next Press release is good news and says something which means we really do have a season to start, because boring as it is, if the cash isn't there, there will be a much worse problem than picking the best team!

 

Steve Daley and the others sound confident enough, so hopefully they know something that mere fans aren't worthy of being told other than just turn up, pay your money and shut up!

 

What a way to get people on your side! Good job the club is bigger than that!
