11 out of 10 for promoting it this early.

How many times do we always say in summer-where are the shirt sponsor details.

Hope it works well (and it is promoting a premiership team next season..well done again.

A really good idea imo.

Just a thought though, if i gave £300 into this and i won the prize where you get a 8 x 3 advertising hoarding, does this mean that my name is put on that hoarding?? If so i may buy all 60. lol

Yes is the simple answer. Even better if you do enter and win the kit sponsorship deal :)

Will it still go ahead if there are fewer than 60 takers?

Will participants be kept informed as to how many have applied?

Will entrance be 'capped' at 60 even if more are interested?

What is the cut-off date?

If a business wishes to sponsor the kit next year in a normal commercial way, will they be turned down in favour of this scheme?

Just asking.

Chris, please contact Cliff for the full answers to your questions, but broadly:

1. We need a reasonable number of participants to make it worthwhile - to be sure that the scheme can generate the sort of incom,e that a conventional sposnorship would do.

2. If the are more than 60 participants, we will look at accomodating them. What is critical is ensuring we also have enough benefits for all participants. A significant advantage of tis scheme is that every one that makes a donation will get some value back out of it. Obviously we need to maintain that committment.

3. Cut off date is variable but given that the the benefits relate to the new season, it's safe to assume some time just after the end of this season, with enough contingency timing to make other arrangements if the scheme is over or under subscribed and to get everthing into place anyhow.

4. The top "prize" is for the 2 year kit sponsorship deal - end of.

I hope that's helpful, but should anyone have any questions about the detail, then I strongly suggest you just follow the guidance on the release and call or email the club or Cliff.

Reply from Cliif to me about advertising this is as follows:

We are as a club taking out an advert to promote what is going on at the Club like the 5’s etc. which is costing money.

I have typed out the benefits of the scheme and gave it and had a chat with Craig Tucker at the Gazette who will get it in Friday’s paper free of charge I hope!!!

KM today have confirmed that they will be renewing their Ad Board at the ground.

We have already 3 companies who have confirmed plus 5 interested.

Reminder

This will take some foot slogging to get 60 participants so I am asking all our fans to help by speaking to their bosses or friends and ask if they or their companies would be interested in this unique scheme and pass their names to me through the club on 01843 221769 or my mobile 07868 564563 or e mail office@margate-fc.com and I will arrange a meeting to speak to the companies who are interested. This is really a way everyone can help and this will go a long way to start a fighting fund for next season to help Iain put together a successful side.

There is also something Cliff has specifically asked me not to mention at this stage as things are ongoing concerning this (hopefully beneficial to the club) but he assures us if & when things come to fruition, through the main website, we will be told.
