Barton Rovers on Tuesday - some familiar faces

Just been looking at their recent match reports and they have a certain ex Rebel in Mr Sammy Winston in their side! They are also managed by former STFC defender Gary Fitzgerald.

 

They also have a player we had at the end of last season in Andrew Iwediuno as well as early season signing from this year Steve Jackman.

Thats funny, we were talking abut Sammy Winston yesterday and wondering where he was these days. Tom still has a shirt he signed for him for his 6th birthday

At his best Sammy Winston is a real hand-ful and always likely to score a goal.

 

Although Barton are bottom with only a couple of wins all season, some of their games against some of the better teams in our division have been quite close notably Burnham where in 2 games only the odd goal has seperated them.
