The problems we have had with chelmsford are that when we beat them 4-0 at melbourne park a few of their fans decided to start on us and were thrown out.

Then this year we had the odd bottle thrown at us as we left because we was singing 4-1 and you fcked it up.They also decided to pick on a 14 year old fan of ours, not really on,saying that when they come to our place there is never any bother

The worse place I remember was Corby Town, full of jocks and other undesirables, another one was Witney Town who used to have a rather quaint custom of throwing bricks through coach windows.

Chelmsford have a few a-holes but none of them travel to away games. Tooting and Wealdstone have a few as both HX and Canvey have experienced in recent seasons.

And as for todays game,i wasn't there but lets face it,everywhere we go,we get met with a warm welcome,we stand with other fans and have banter. The only places we ever have trouble are at chelmsford and wimbledon, the wimbledon games we had problems in the play offs and a little problem in the league game,i guess the stewards today were probably warned.

How funny that when wimbledon came to us in the league they all enjoyed themselves without a hint of trouble

Our stewards didn't need warning. The behaviour of your young fans at the away game, coupled with the confrontational attitude and nature of a slightly older bunch at the start of this game would have sufficed to make an informed judgement of our own.

the young fans weren't there today,if you read the other thead started by Rex then it will become clearer.

I do find it strange that when we have been to kingsmeadow the previous two times (against wimbledon) the stewards were very harsh for no reason.

today by the sounds of it they were spot on and judged it accordingly but in all honesty by and large we are a good bunch, the slightly older lads came today,i know two of them from when they were quiet 15 year olds 3 or 4 years ago and they are good lads, one would only assume they got a bit drunk and out of hand.Don't make too much out of it though mate, none of them kicked off by the sound of it so no harm done.

Most stewards do the job because they are unemployable at McDonald's...ergo thick as sh!t and lacking any common.....

That remark was a little unfair coup, The stewards do a very worthwhile job protecting us peace loving elderly gentlefolk from drink fueled fourteen year old thugs who can usually be identified by their tacky red and white striped replica shirts.

the last two times we have been to wimbledon i have found the stewards to use excessive force, especially at the league game where they decided to segregate the crowd in the second half for no reason,as soon as they done that the two sets of fans started hurling abuse at each other.
