U18's are Middlesex FA County Cup Champions

Recommended Posts

For those of you who are not aware of it, but our very good u18's side won the final of the Middlesex FA County Cup on Thursday night thus ensuring the first silverware for ETFC. We beat Hillingdon Borough u18's 2-0. Well done to the managers Paul and Mark, captain Jason Holmes and all the team for a very hard fought win that included very good football, and the team spirit shown was fantastic as they had to dig deep on many occasions. The commitment shown sums up their success so far this season as they are still in the quarters of the League Cup as well as sitting at the top of the table in the league. Hopefully more trophies are on the way.

Do not underestimate this achievement, well done Paul and Mark, their efforts are all from the heart and on a voluntary basis and gives these lads the platform of hopefully one day turning out in a future 1st team squad as home grown talent. These lads should also be told to regularly attend and watch first team games so as to be familiar with the standard of the play as well as making themselves known to the management,.

Champs of Middx U18's section congratulations again.

too true as Jason is there already and there are a few others who can make it into the first team with ease, they just need to be seen, phased in slowly with experience, and we will have the home grown talent and not lost to our competitors.
