Ross Wall

Recommended Posts

Couldn't understand why we brought him back a little while ago, still can't!! Don't want to be to harsh on the boy, but, correct me if I'm wrong, he was Concord's 3rd choice striker, comes back to us and he starts everytime! Again last night another mediocre performance, just going through the motions! On a plus point the two strikers that came on at the death certainly looked lively!

Could it be that Ross is only 19 but full of potential. He is still learning his trade but he will be a top class striker. Unless you want a team full of old men with no young blood coming through. If so go and watch Romford.

Absolutely agree with the last bit Bob. Romford currently have two ex premiership players, an ex England international, and loads of talented youngsters in our first team squad.

Funny enough, someone said something similar about Ricki Burbridge.

And look whats happened to him after just a few promising games for us.

I think Ross is suffering from a lack of confidence at the moment (I could be wrong, it's only an opinion).

Hopefully, he'll get stronger and get a few goals to sort that out.

We are struggling to score goals at the moment though.

The two guys that came on last night looked useful.

Did Romford's ex England international play in their last ESC Final???

No, we have only just signed him, he played for England under 19s a few years ago.

Got to add my bit !

Ross was fantastic for us, he was in the shadow of Danny Heale who although is not scoring loads has been execeptional for us

And also wonder kid Lyle Taylor !

So i believe Ross will still prove himself at premier level.

Maybe back with us when we put Healsy out to graze !

There is a massive difference between scoring in Div1 North and the Ryman Prem.

As it is I wonder, where the goals are going to come from.

I thought the subs last night, had a bigger impact on holding the ball up and having the physical strength to deal with the defenders.

Lack of confidence all round it seems. Am I dreaming or did we score four against Chelmsford twice? Luckily the defence is playing its part and ,Darren is keeping us in the hunt.

If we can keep scoring more than we concede then I think we'll win most games. Starting with another big 'un tomorrow..

Ross isn't setting the world on fire at the moment but if the crowd turns on him like a few were doing last night after his miss then it is not going to do his confidence any good.He is young and players do get better with age,i think its a season for us to be patient with what we have and hopefully they will come good.A win tomorrow will put us right back in the mix

I'm sure the team were aware they could have been better on the night, perhaps they were pacing themselves for tomorrow. But Canvey looked full of themselves and they'd also played Tuesday.
