FANS PLAYER OF THE YEAR

From experience I don't remember there ever being any rules about who you can or can't vote for (nor should there be).

Tends to go to someone with the Club at the time of voting as, after all, most fans don't want to vote for someone who (for whatever reason) has deserted the cause.

So, for this season, the Player of the Season could be someone we haven't signed yet !

A goalkeeper mini-league would be great reading, with goals conceded

So far

Turner 6apps 9 goals

Garrad 5 apps 10goals

Reed 10 apps 20 goals

Blackmore 1 app 2 goals

Anderson 1 app 1 goal

Kitley 1 app 0 goals

Nicholls 6 apps 10 goals

Mullin 2 apps 5 goals

Robinson 1 app 4 goals

That is league games only.

From the MISA site.

Supporters' Player of the year 2009/10 season.

Picking up from the debate on the forum the committee decided at last night's meeting to hold the ballot at the Aveley match on Saturday April 10th, two weeks before the last home match (Hastings) when the presentation will be made. There, as suggested, are no rules except perhaps an unwritten one that the player will have turned out for the first team at least once this season! With the turnover of players experienced this term perhaps it will be won by as few as five votes! We shall see.

Voting slips will be made available as you enter the ground. Please take part as we should like to test the mathematical skills of the adjudicator!

Many thanks.
