I believe so Michael, after all defence stood firm without him for 80 minutes on Saturday. Then when Sam replaced Grant for last 15/20 minutes he too looked firm and solid defending.

Sam Groombridge more than capable of taking Johns place, and we have still got Jack Haversham on the bence.

Sam is a big talker to the defence too, think I remarked on it before that he looked more of a captain than Dan Young used to. Though obviously he doesn't have the football brain that JK possesses

John knows he made some mistakes last night and he is probably pi..ed off about his red card but last night he pulled off some great tackles as well , and for a guy who is 38 im amazed he has been able to keep himself going as the last two home games that have been played have be more fast than slow . All last night as well you could hear him giving orders on the pitch which is un heard of as most of our teams in the past have been very quite on the pitch . What i have also noticed as well is since JK has been back in the team Jay Saunders game has gone up 100% . So what does this say about JK not so much a liability but an added bonus with a wealth of experience behind him .
