I have always held out on the Blackman debate as i think some criticism was unfair. However, I thought he was poor last night. Just shows that i know nothing!

Blackman did OK in midfield. Allways gives 110%. If Barnsie has a tear in his hamstrings he could be out for some time.

a very good team performance.... again, playing against a very good Sutton team. Ok we were under pressure at times but thats to be expected when near top play near bottom so well done to all including the 300 or so supporters that turned out. Lets now keep it going for Saturday and also next Tuesday as i feel we now can get something at Dartford, the way they are playing at the moment (would not have said that a few months ago)!

Excellent result for Margate in my opinion, like the boss said other managers consider Sutton to be the best team in the league so taking a point in our current state of affairs against a top half team should be looked upon as a win more then a loss. Three points in the bag o Saturday for sure. Up the Gate!

They luv us being there.Believe me I know they do & with our help maybe,just maybe we CAN get that massively important result together.

The players are giving everything for us right now so we should be repaying them by & turning up in numbers to support & help them achieve that result.

Lets not take things for granted.Carshalton will be fighting for a result just like we will be.Gonna be a different game from last night altogeher with much more tension involved.(As if it could be more intense than last night that is).

 

Agreed, I just like to think positive about things. I think everyone connected with Margate FC needs to start being somewhat more positive due to the relegation battle, no offence mate. I agree with what you said about the game being alot tougher then last nights encounter with Sutton United aswell, for sure Carshalton are going to be battling away for survival too.

On a slightly different tack, there were some good comments on the Sutton Forum today, particularly about the match commentary. There were comments about how surprised there were about how partisan it was. I believe one of the supporters spoke to Wellsie last night about setting it up at Sutton. Keep up the good work Steve.

 

There was also a comment about how good the attendance was, considering our position.

Could not agree more. Get along to the game, take your mates, the misses, the kids, even if there is something trivial you want to watch on TV ( like Chelsea or some other far away club). Support your local team in this, there hour of need.

Just noticed, Saturday is another 'must win' game. How many is that now? And what is our record in them? Lost most I think. I suppose they are only 'must win' until we lose, and then the next one becomes 'must win'.
