DomBlueBoy
Unfortunatly I'll be missing tonights match in favour of the Chelsea v Inter game on the box . Was a tough decision to make and hopefully both of my clubs won't be BLUE ( haha geddit!!!) after tonights results. Hopefully Margate can put in a good shift tonight getting a point or even a win which would be brilliant and let's face it, maybe apart from Dartford, everyone can beat everyone in this league. Would take a draw tonight and massive game on Saturday that requires a 'must win' attitude. So here's to a Margate victory ( or draw) and Chelsea to progress in the champions league COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!

I am Spartacus
Sad really really sad you must get a life. Why watch North Battersea anyway they are not the best team in the London Borough of Hammersmith that is Q P R

lion
Hope you enjoyed Chelsea going out, I did when I heard the result after seeing Margate get a good point in there fight against relegation. In my opinion you should be ashamed of yourself, Get out and support your local club instead of being and armchair fan of some club miles and miles away from you who you cannot possible have any real feelings for. If they was ever to get relegated you would have to find some other trendy team to support, who would it be then Manchester united, or City. Edited March 17, 2010 by BlueGate Alan Deleted last line, dont want ill feelings on here now

lion
Sorry, did not mean to be to strong, but feel Margate fans should get down to Hartsdown at the moment, the team are performing but need and deserve your support. It is amazing that so called fans can sit indoors when there are important games being played local.
BlueGate Alan
I agree Lion, but hey his loss, especially as the game was on the big screen in the bar and he could have seen both matches from there!
mfc-no1
One hundered and ten percent agree with lion, Margate need all the support we can get at the moment. Fighting relegation whilst people sit at home supporting Liverpool when they have no connection with the place!
DomBlueBoy
Blimey I really didn't expect such negativeity towards me after this post, it was only meant to be light hearted!!! In my defence I have only missed 3 homes games at most this season and same last season-I only EVER miss Saturday games if I go to Stamford Bridge - although I do try and choose to go to Chelsea wen Margate are away. I so far managed 7 chelsea games this season which isn't bad - home and away - went away to Bolton . Unfortunatly will miss the Margate home game on 3 April as going to old traffold for the man utd v Chelsea game and also for the David haye boxing in the evening. Good enough excuse I feel Once again sorry my post offended some - it was only meant to be light hearted I promise !!!! Also some people need to chill out - this forum is meant to be a bit of fun! BlueGate Alan
I think going to watch Chelsea at Stamford Bridge or anywhere else is a lot different to sitting at home watching them on the box when Margate were playing at home. Just my opinion but, of course purely your choice.

Blimey you really are in the need for some therapy. Going to Old Trafford and not only seeing SE London BUT North Battersea. Once again sorry my post offended some - it was only meant to be light hearted I promise !!!! No offence taken mate as it is your choice however wierd it may seem. Also some people need to chill out - this forum is meant to be a bit of fun! I think this winter has been cold enough without taking an extra chill. Just my opinion but, of course purely your choice. believe me BlueGate Alan i would have much preferred to have been at The Bridge last night rather then watching it at home, however due to expense (the man utd game, boxing and hotel) and my early shifts at work (4am) it wasnt possible! Yes mate you are right, this is a forum that is ment to be a bit of fun but there are some real passionate fans out there who wont understand your reasons for supporting a team that someone has no connection with over your local team. I dont know, you may have a connection with them but im sure you see my point as valid mate.
DomBlueBoy
I'm a fan of both Margate and chelsea. As I said I very rarely miss a home game but Chelsea are my first team. I'm very suprised u lot think that everyone who goes to Margate games only support Margate , maybe they do but I don't think so. I agree with u in theory - I laugh at man utd and liverpool fans from the south who have never been to a game. That is not the case for me - Chelsea is only in London and as previously said I do attend the bridge on a regular basis plus occasional away games . Should I never go to a Margate game again because I also support Chelsea ? Some of u are acting like it's a competition who is the biggest Margate fan on the forum - whooopiee !! I've been to most home games since the 99 season - including the Dover days ( admit not to ashford so much). Does all that mean f@@@ all cos I have the cheek to also support Chelsea . If this makes u a bigger, better Margate fan than me then well done to you, u r the winner!!!!
