AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!

I just finished re-jigging the line-ups grid in the middle of the programme to accommodate the new Wealdstone date (for the second time) and now have to start again!!!!!!!!!

Presumably the answer 'yes' was to 'Does the Carshalton away game need to be re-arranged?'

Thats good-pleased the carlshalton game now in april as it gives an extra league game to be played in april and so we will not have played more games than the other teams at the botton

(if you get my drift !!)

The answer is no, the Carshalton game will not be re-arranged.

Now that is a surprise-so reserves will play one of the games-persumably the KSC game ,and carlshalton fixture stands on 30th as well.

I assume the kent FA can't fine you for fielding a weaker side.

Clubs are quite near-why not kick one off at 5pm-no need to get changed, hop on the bus, and nip over to Carlshalton from welling !!

On the 8th November 2006 we played a KSC match against VCD the team that day was;

SCS, Williams, Allen, Wisker, Smith, Heath, Stellon, Hickman, Bagley, Hoggart, Abbott subs Johnstone, Lewis, Woodward & Bowles.

On the following Saturday the only player who played at Hampton & Richmond was Paull Abbott.

Reserve team selection for the KSC has been set.

As an aside can anyone name the scorer of the VCD goal that night which was cheered by all the MFC fans.

What I mean is will the KSC game count as one of the matches that a suspended player will have to miss? Obviously given that it is on at the same time as a league game it would be rather cheeky to count that as two games chalked off in one night!

Well if one match was to kick off at 15.00 and the other at 19.45 we could claim 2 matches ;)

Firstly, the Kent Senior Cup is a first team competition. I guess pragmatism has won the day here.

Whether it's changed I don't know, but in the past the KSC didn't count towards games missed through suspension, but any bookings / sendings off incurred whilst playing in the competition did count towards suspensions etc in the league. Weird I know but we are talking FA here. :smashfreakb: Having said that, the situation may be different now.

Outside pre-season frienlies, I don't recall any in recent years.

During 1934/35 Margate had teams in both the Southern and Kent Leagues and the Kent League insisted that Margate should play their strongest possible side in KL matches. When I was checking the results for that season I came to the conclusion that both SL & KL games had to be treated as first team matches so there's a whole season of games taking place on the same day. So a bit of a similar situation there. Other than that it's never happened before although on 26.12.25 an away game at Ashford Railway Works counted as both a Kent League and Kent League Cup tie.
