Macca was non-contract I believe and there is nothing Statham can do if he wants to walk. Considering our selection problems for tonight, I think his timing was lousy.

Agree with everything you say. Macca was by far our most consistent defender (when he was selected) and I just cannot understand why so many of our

better players have chosen to depart/been released this season (or perhaps I can). The current manager's attitude towards our former players and some of the team selections just beggar belief.
