Cheshunt V Enfield Town

We went to sleep after we scored the opening goal. Cheshunt deserved their win and looked dangerous every time they went down the wings. Both teams hit the woodwork and Cheshunt had really done their homework and finished the much stonger side.

I saw DOY on his bike!

Soup and a roll were good!

Agree with all the comments really we deserved nothing and got nothing.

the difference between the two teams was the desire of the Cheshunt team to win.

We have 9 league games left, thats a lot still and 27 pts to play for. The run in is about grinding out the results, and that will be achieved by a desire to win and have the hunger and determination to succeed. I hope we get a superb reaction from everyone that will get us back on route to clinching a play off spot, we certainly have the ability amongst our squad.

Our good run coincided with the defence being stable and consistant of Blackburne/Bomber, Lockie, Bardle, Kirby and Mackay. I would suggest we get that unit back again asap, unless injuries prevent it.

The Saturday game is also my sons 'Facebook Event' game, meaning invite a friend or 10 and come along to help drive the team on to success against Heybridge Swifts, So back the lad's good intentions and lets get the biggest gate of the season this Saturday.

After the shambles at your place in january i obviously enjoyed the win on tuesday night, Dave Hick's free kick was worth the entrance money alone. This just shows what we can do with a lot of effort but this kind of performance has been far to rare this season. It's obvious you will make the play offs but i just have a feeling you won't go up so i must agree with AW and i think we will be playing each other next season and not in a friendly SC.

All the best for the rest of the season and if you do go up then you are more than welcome to tell me i was talking b*llocks, i normally do anyway ask Fruitbat, Bubbles or Taco.

A few of us were wondering at what time Albury W4nker would finally re-surface on these forums! What a twat!! Well played to Cheshunt last night. you fully deserved your cup final win. as for next season..well, who knows. We are second favourites for a play off place so lets wait and see.

How is it when people use swear words on this forum they get deleted . But When you use the F & W words your moderator just leaves it ?

Never mind the Aspergus , Do something about your Tourettes syndrone . :getwell:

Because I hadn't seen it. I've taken out the swear words to protect your delicate sensibilities.

Friends are something that is lacking at Cheshunt unless a team with supporters visits.

the irony is that no one at town has a problem with cheshunt, but albury walker keeps trying to make one.

Here here, i'm glad they've got away from the drop zone and if it's our 3pts that eventually secures their current status then i'll be pleased to have helped out our less fortunate neighbours.
