Gotta say was wondering if some players decide to raise it for the "bigger" games ? Both Dartford games and R&D really good performances. Perhaps we should play just these teams

They've got 11 'BIG' games from now til the end of the season to save us from dropping into the oblivion. Lets hope they view the situation the same as us supporters.

I haven't written anything all season - but now have finally felt that I have to say something!

 

What we have to understand is that we have 3 ways of playing. Very occasionally we are p*ss poor. Then there are occasions where we play quite or very well (i.e. Dartford and Canvey). However, the vast majority of games are what I like to call "Default". That was last Saturday and Tuesday - aimless long balls (some with snow on) - mostly down the middle, a striker who can't be bothered, the same person taking all the set pieces (badly!), players playing out of position and substitutions that don't change anything.

 

As long as we continue to only occasionally play the way we can - the longer this frustration will continue. I don't for a second suggest what was being said the Cowshed was tolerable, but suspect it wasn't only directed at Danny Green - he just happened to be nearest, but it is understandable. The difference in 2 weeks in staggering.

 

Please let us get some results this week - or I think it could be all out warfare on the terraces (those people that still remain that is!)

I'm not sure what happened with Danny Green other than i was told it was not his fault.

I really did feel sorry for him at the end of the game, even if he put in a poor performance by his standards (which he didn't) it would have been a thousand times better than certain other players on the pitch.

 

So back to the thread title If Carlsberg did...... Crap strikers, We'd probably sign them
