So what do you do about Blackman? He's our leading goalscorer this season, but he won't be playing against Carshalton because Huggins and Pinns are now 1st and 2nd choice strikers, so do you leave Blackman on the bench in that game, or have him start with the reserves against Welling?

 

I'd choose the 2nd option.

No, he has to head for Carshalton for two reasons, Huggins and/or Pinnock get held up in traffic - can't arrive until after kick off -so he could start (happened on Saturday to Carshalton when a carful of players arrived late). Alternatively one of those same two gets injured early in the first half - we need an experienced sub in that scenario too.

 

The Kent Senior Cup is a bit Mickey Mouse, there's no prize money and there's not even the 'bonus' of playing the game at Priestfield as used to be the case in the 1990's.
