In the scale of things maybe not too important this season-but have'nt the club got a KFC semi final to arrange and play by the end of march ?

Ken is having great difficulty trying to fit this game in and it might mean that a league game will have to be cancelled as, believe it or not, this game takes priority!!!

I guess thats the same reason wealdstone away game postponed-in favour of their cup tie.

 

I forget-who are we meant to be playing in the KFC.

 

Whilst very close to a saturday fixture-i reckon the two teams involved should consider playing it on a SUNDAY-that way-you may bet 250 attend the game !!

I think Manager will play reserves in this one, plus any players returning from injury.

Am inclined to agree with you Lion, league games must take priority now.

Should have added players like Haversham, Morris, Cliff, Groombridge, Blackman, Deano, Wilson (if fit), Anderson (in goal). All players not playing much football at the moment, for one reason or another. Manager could then have a look at these players, plus they get some football under there belts.

I disagree with some of you here. There's no way Welling are going to play their first team against us, so we might as well field as strong a team as possible to give us a chance of beating them. We haven't had a decent cup run for a number of years, and after the miserable season we're having the lads could do with the morale boost that comes from reaching a cup semi-final, and Heaven forbid, a final...

Absolutely agree with BGA - it will certainly gives those fringe or reserve players a chance to show what they can do. Mind you, I tend to agree that it is likely Welling will put a few fringe players out as well.

Doesn't matter as this match is now on the same night as a League match, so Leroy won't have to be involved.

 

Though, based on tonights match - we have Wayne Wilson, Curtis Robinson, Jack Haverson and Kieron Morris in addition to the 16 named for the Sutton match.
