Refs Workshop!!!!

A course is being run by Surrey F.A.for Refs level 5-7,The workshop will include Creditibility and Selling It,could any of our Ref Brethren please explain.

Just as a starter I would guess that they are going to talk about being in a credible position to give decisions.

 

Too often we see assistants giving (or not giving) offsides when not in line with the second last defender and referees making decisions when 30+ yards away from play.

 

If you are in the correct position and are positive with your decision then you are more likely to 'sell' your decision to players, benches and supporters even if you make the odd mistake.
